The First Annual HOPs Beer Chili Cookoff was a HUGE success! And awesome fun! There were so many great varieties entered, and I didn’t find a single one I didn’t love! Congratulations to our winners, by public ballot vote:

2nd Place: Ryan Killen (Bourbon barrel Bison Texas Chili)
3rd Place: Kathy DeFrancisco (Hottie Boom Body Coffee Porter beef chili)
Join us at Nocterra Brewing Co. for our first-ever BEER CHILI COOKOFF! You love Chili? You love beer? Combine the two in your favorite recipe, and compete against others to be the GRAND CHAMP of chili!
Enter a chili of your own, or just show up for some awesome food, and cast your vote for champion!
Prizes will be awarded for First, Second and Third places. The Champ will receive a $50 gift card for Nocterra! Winner will be judged by all attendees by casting tickets for their favorite vote!
The only rule? Your chili MUST contain an identified beer; either home-brewed or commercial works.
