On the first Saturday in November, thousands of people will gather at Learn to Homebrew Day sites worldwide to brew beer and and learn about the hobby of homebrewing.
In 1999, Learn To Homebrew Day was established by the American Homebrewers Association to promote the most rewarding, and delicious activity of all time — homebrewing. Join the celebration and attend the HOPs event!
Our local event will be held at Nocterra Brewing Company – bring your equipment, and plan on brewing and demonstrating the process for others! The Homebrewers of Powell – HOPs group will be joining the Scioto Olentangy Darby Zymurgists – SODZ group for the day’s event, so plan on participating! Nocterra is generously donating Origin Malt 2-row free of charge for those that brew at the event! They will also provide carbon filter water, and have 3 hoses available for chilling.
